Why do you charge for entry?
The Llandudno Christmas Fayre is run by a team of dedicated volunteers from the Llandudno Christmas Fayre Community Interest Company (A not for profit organisation). but staging this major event incurs considerable costs. We receive some funding through Small grants. We also receive kind support from our key Sponsors but we need to charge for entry to gener-ate funds to pay for large costs such as marquees, site set up, power, staging, kitchens, insurance, health and safety, security, marketing, and so on. Every year the Fayre attracts over 30,000+ people to Llandudno who shop and stay over in the area benefiting local businesses, the hospitality sector and the community. It is our goal to create the finest Christmas Fayre in Wales and one of the major events in the calendar year which, in turn, boosts tourism to the area too.
Is the Christmas Fayre buggy Friendly?
We welcome families and have the opportunity for children to come and meet Santa and his Elves in his Grotto Cost (£6). The Fayre does get very busy although we do strive to give as much space as we can for all walkways.
Is there a lost child point?
Yes, the Lost Child point is the on-site Entertainment stage located in Trinity Square. You can always notify any security staff and volunteers who will assist you. They are located by all the main entrances.
Is the Fayre wheelchair friendly?
All our Fayre is wheelchair accessible with level access to the entrances or easy ramps to access any change in level.
Can I bring my dog?
Yes certainly, you are ok throughout the majority of the Fayre, but to meet our very necessary hygiene standards we operate a policy whereby no dogs are allowed in the Church Hall except for guide Dogs or Assistance Dogs which must be kept on a lead at all times.
We do not have specific parking for the Fayre, but suggest using public car parks and street parking. AA signs along ap- proaches to the centre of the town will help direct you.
St Johns Ambulance personnel will be present throughout the fayre and will be circulating around the event. They will have a static vehicle in the grounds of Holy Trinity Church.
Where are the cashpoints?
The closest cashpoint is at Lloyds Bank at the entrance to the Fayre on Mostyn Street. There are numerous machines in the high street.
Can I pay by credit card at the entrance?
At present we do not have the facility to accept card payments.
How do I know what's going on When?
An event map, posters and a free brochure will be available at the pay stations, giving you details of any entertainment and all of the exhibitors in attendance during the 4 days of the Fayre.
